Unix, Music, and Politics ... What was I thinking?

Two things have come from Berkeley: LSD and Unix. Coincidence?

Four doctors walk into a bar ...

Received from a friend recently:
A Japanese doctor says, "Medicine in my country is so advanced that we can take a kidney out of one man, put it in another, and have him out looking for work in six weeks."

A German doctor says, "That is nothing. We can take a lung out of one person, put it in another, and have him out looking for work in four weeks."

A British doctor says, "In my country medicine is so advanced that we can take half a heart out of one person, put it in another, and have both of them out looking for work in two weeks."

The American doctor, not to be outdone, interjected, "You guys are way behind. We are about to take a woman with no brains, send her to Washington where she will become President, and then half the country will be out looking for work."
I'm not sure whether to laugh or be terrified.

Comments:
So true. So very true. Of course, which is stupider... the idiot elected President, or the morons who voted for her?

Tell me about it. She's as liberal as they come, yet she's carefully put on a moderate veneer and speaks the words that tickle the ears of non-critical thinkers. We'll see if she can parlay her success as a carpetbagger in NY into another presidency.

"I'm not going to have some reporters pawing through our papers. We are the president." -- Hillary Clinton commenting on the release of subpoenaed documents.

And to think that some people really believed that Bill was running the show during those eight years. Laughable.
